Happy Sunday, Loves!! Any home is a work in progress wouldn't you agree? I've been working to get my home to reflect my personal style. The living room is my favorite - I feel it truly reflects ME. It's a mix of cottage, comfortable, chic, and prep. I love when you walk into someone's home and you think, "Oh, yes, this is so him or her."

The carriage house has been meticulously maintained by it's owners and it has great bones and bucketloads of quaintness - it didn't require much to make this place shine. After renting apartments for the past couple of years, I can't even tell you how tickled I am to be here. My landlords are not only friends, they are incredibly cool and sweet. Feeling blessed beyond words.

It is possible to decorate on a budget and still get the look you want. I did really well at Homegoods and Joss and MainThe items that came from Joss and Main arrived really quickly too, (a plus for this impatient girl)!
